Welcome expectant mothers! At 10 weeks of pregnancy, your baby is nearly about the size of a citrus fruit
– During this period, the critical portion of fetal development is nearly finished
– Your baby now is 3 centimeters long and weighs 4 grams
– The most highlighted fetal development during this week is the disappearance of the reptile tail of the baby
– Your baby's head is about half his length and his facial features are quite recognizable
– Your sweet baby's fingers and toes are fully formed and he/she can now bend its limbs
– Your baby's hair is growing and developed
– Despite eyelids remain shut, eyes obtain its own color and irises are developed
– Nervous system and digestive system are developing
– Button nose is now visible and external parts of ears have started to grow
– The baby's head is overly bulging to accommodate brain growth and development and spine is more visible now
– The beating heart is now fully functional and your baby is building bones and cartilage
– Your baby's knees, wrists and ankles are developing
– If it's a baby girl her tiny ovaries are beginning to form tinier eggs and
– If it's a baby boy his testes are starting to make testosterone
