Vicodin through pregnancy? PERSCRIBED BY OB?

I had a botched gastric bypass that left me with nerve damage and bad adhesions. I have severe chronic pain due to this. I was taking Ultram but when i found out i was pregnant MY OB PUT ME ON THE 5/500 VICODINS. I take 2-4 a day. i really try not to. i do worry about the baby. but my ob said for a mothers body to go through severe chronic pain is dangerous too. this is the only medication i take. I take then as my ob prescribed them. i just get worried that i will have a baby with severe birth defects or something seriously wrong. my doctor gave me all the research and said that i will be taking it for my whole pregnancy. I have learned all about category c and have researched other meds. There will be a special doctor there when the bay is born who will take the baby's case and handle the baby's with-drawl. If i could tough it out or be able to deal with just tylenol i would. I love my baby very much. I eat healthy, exercise, i don't drink, smoke, or take drugs. I am concerned that the baby will have mental or physical problems. Does anyone know FOR SURE? Like i said these are PERSCRIBED BY THE OB AND TAKEN AS DIRECTED BUT WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN FOR WHOLE PREGNANCY…
Oh and i didn't plan my pregnancy and birth control and backup birth control failed. Took plan B pill twice before and it almost killed me. My body couldn't handle it AT ALL. So Plan B was out of the question. Just wondering if the baby will be healthy since i gotta take it for the whole pregnancy. I have discussed this with my OB already. He is the one who put me on them for the whole pregnancy since cold turkey isn't an option for some and may prove to be more harmful to your baby. He felt Vicodin would be safer than Ultram and we talked for hours in person and on the phone and i did my own research plus he showd me his research. I am still concerned about birth defects though. HELP????

Pregnancy Photography – Tips For The Belly!
 by: Heather Hart

These tips have been provided by Heather Hart of A La Mode Photo who specializes in natural environment, pregnancy, family and pet photography.

1. Find a friend.

Since you are the model, you need someone who has a few hours to dedicate to you and your Belly!

2. Try using a camera with real film and not digital. Go to a camera store and ask for professional black and white film – avoid going to the local market or drugstore for your film – there is a big difference! Ask for 125 speed film – there is less grain. And everyone always looks so much better in black and white – try it, you may like it!

3. Wear natural make-up – a little base and accent your eyes! Since you’re shooting outdoors, keep it light!

4. Choose a place outside! A local park with trees always works nicely. Make sure that the background where you are shooting is also nice. Be careful of trash cans and other items in the background that might detract from your focus.

5. Go to a local fabric store and buy 6 yards of chiffon material. Black, grey, white – any color is fine! Use this to wrap around you and make a great skirt. This will accentuate your Belly just perfectly! Bring safety pins – they will be your new best friend.
