1. Breastfeeding is a great way to lose calories. It nourishes your little one and at the same time paves the way for you to get back to your slim frame.

2. Drink lots of water and keep your system clean. When you become a mother, your body goes through an upheaval. To bring it back to normal, you need to take good care of your food intake. Having junk food and drinks such as cola or soda may lead to further gain in weight.

3. Take a balanced diet. Include lean meat and whole grain into your diet. This will give back your strength.

4. Start mild exercises like walking only when you think your body can support it.


Can pregnancy be detected on 4th weeks by ultrasound?

Yes, but you will normall only see the sac and not the baby at this time.

I had an early scan at 4 and half weeks for these 2 and we saw 1 baby with a heartbeat and what looked like one empty sac.

We went back in 2 weeks and saw 2 babies and 2 heartbeats!
