What Pregnancy Signs to Look Out for When Waiting to See if You Have Fallen Pregnant.

If you are trying to become pregnant you may be feeling a little impatient to know if you have successfully become pregnant or not. That waiting time, although only a short few weeks, seems to take such a long time until you can finally do a test to find out for sure whether you have a beautiful baby growing inside you.

In this article I’m going to discuss some of the pregnancy signs that might give you an indication as to whether you could be pregnant.

Feeling dizzy or lightheaded – this symptom was a big giveaway for me, especially with my third pregnancy when I wasn’t actually trying to fall pregnant at the time. But when the day came that I couldn’t stand up for long without feeling lightheaded, I started to get suspicious. I then did the math and sure enough I was a couple of days late with my period and I was always very regular. I went straight out the following day and bought a pregnancy test which surprisingly came back positive. So feeling dizzy or lightheaded, particularly when you have been on your feet for a while, could be a tell tale sign of being pregnant.

Morning sickness or nausea – morning sickness is one of the unpleasant symptoms of being pregnant that many women will suffer from. You may experience morning sickness at any time of the day, it doesn’t necessarily have to occur in the morning, and some women will have it lasting all day. Some women will only have a nausea feeling while others will have actual vomiting. So feeling sick or being sick every day can be one more tell tale sign of pregnancy.

Late period – if your periods are always regular then if you are a couple of days late then this could be an indication that you could be pregnant. If you do not have regular periods or have just come off the pill then this may not be a sign of being pregnant.

Sore breasts – sore or tender breasts are very common in the early stages of pregnancy. You might just feel a general soreness or just a tenderness to touch, but it will be fairly obvious and you will likely notice that it is out of the normal.

Need to urinate more often – this is also one of the early and quite common signs of pregnancy. Frequent urination usually happens early due to hormone changes and will also happen late in pregnancy due to the baby putting pressure on the bladder.

Mood swings – another tell tale sign. When you have all those hormone changes happening there is a good chance that it will effect your mood so if you are feeling like you are unusually moody or irritable then this could be a pregnancy sign.

Spotting – it is reasonably common for women to have a little spotting at the time when their menstrual period would have occurred. This is only light spotting and much lighter than a normal period. You shouldn’t spot anymore after this spotting has stopped and if you do you should see a doctor straight away.

Some women may suffer from all of these symptoms while others will only have one or two, but any one of these could be an indication that you are pregnant. You know your own body and so will likely notice any of these pregnancy sign and you should visit your doctor to get a definite answer on whether you are pregnant or not.
