Pregnancy Timeline Experience
I am pregnant. I am very happy to say that. It is my 12th week on the pregnancy timeline. Boy and hasn’t it been tough? I would like to explain how things have been for me over the last few months and what you can expect if you are in the same boat.
So yes I am pregnant. The news is great but it does take its toll on your body. I found out I was pregnant after my fourth week. As soon as I missed my period slightly I did the tests. The first test came out rather faint but I had a very good idea that I was pregnant.
I went to the doctors quite early on. There is nothing they can really do for you at this stage. They don’t test you because they say that it only shows what it does in the test you have already taken anyway. I wasn’t sure of the point on the pregnancy timeline that you should go to the doctors. As soon as you know that you are pregnant then I would advise that you go to the doctors. They will then set you up with an appointment to see the midwife.
The midwife that I have is really nice. She came to my house for my appointment. She took her time going through everything and she was at my house for almost one hour. She marks all the key points on the pregnancy timeline and what to expect. You know what actions that you need to take right down to when the scans will be. You find out exactly what to expect.
I know that she went through everything but I still didn’t understand how hard it would be. I can assure you that I do now! I will go through some of the things that I am feeling (in no particular order)… tiredness, I am constantly tired. I really struggle to get up in the mornings these days.
The other symptoms that I am feeling include sickness (not just the morning), backaches, headaches and ‘teariness’. It has been hard work but the further you get down the pregnancy timeline the easy that it becomes.
