Decorating a child’s room often involves the use of a theme which includes painting walls and adding accessories that contain bold and vivid colors. These rooms often require a change in furnishings as well if the initial bed or dressers have been purchased in a color or material that will not match the new theme. Since the average family changes their children’s room decor every two years, buying new furniture for each change can make redecoration very cost prohibitive.
When a piece of furniture is costly it is not practical to replace it each time a change in decor occurs. Many times a family will decorate around the piece of furniture so that it does not need to be replaced. However, when the theme of a child’s room is changing from one bold color to another it is necessary to have furniture that can change with it. A white bunkbed allows major color changes to be affected in a room without detracting from the new theme.
The desk, dresser, and closet option that is provided in a white bunk bed solves many problems that face a family trying to incorporate all the items needed by a child. A desk below the bed does not require extra space to provide a functional and fashionable place to do homework. A dresser built in to the bed allows for storage of toys and items that may otherwise be cluttering the space or using precious room within the area.
The beds are also built with beds above and below, but in a captains style so there is storage space under the bottom bunk for clothing or visitors belongings. These beds make an excellent place to keep belongings of children who may be visiting the home regularly.
When children are part of a combined family and spend part of their time in another residence, a white bunk bed offers them the opportunity to always have their own bed which houses their special toys or keepsakes. The captain’s storage area also allows children to share a room without the need for two dressers and two nightstands. In a smaller room this frees up additional space that makes the room look much larger.
White bunk beds can make a small room look and feel large and comfortable. They provide personal space for a child when they share a room with a sibling. With the built-in desk it is possible to concentrate on work without the need to move materials from room to room or table to table. This creates a much more personal investment in maintaining a clean work area and allows the room to also be used for activities.
